evap. fan & heat coil on, will not turn off

Hello all...came home to find central unit blowing hot air. even though t-stat was on cool, heat coil (in evap. duct above fan) was "on". disconnected wires to coil and now of course get cool air, but evaporator fan does not cycle on/off although condensing unit is cycling fine..some relay/contactor somewhere? thanks to anyone for any guidance

The best thing for you is to call a service co. and briefly describe problem and schedule a service call. Also have a complete check out for the cooling season, it will save you time and money in the long run.
