Cvhf Tail Brg

:rolleyes:Hey Guys got a cvhf 090 that we replaced a motor on back in july chiller ran good until last week when we lost the tail bearing no sign of any thing wrong with the chiller did find all 3 set srews out of the lock nut outerace was broke in 3 spots. motor came from factory shop in nc any exp with this kind of problems would help possible cause chiller did have good oil persure and plenty og oil in sump when shut down:eek:

sounds like you lost your preload. with those shoe lock screws backed out, that would be possible. i have yet to see that, but i am not aware of our shop having bought a motor since the shoe lock design came out.
