Been using number kits for years, but thinking of getting one of the Brady (or other??) wire labellers. Use a Brother P-Touch Labeller for my panel or junction box covers and have a place that can make lamacoids for me (which are nicer, but more expensive). Just curious as to your labelling experiences.............I don't build a lot of panels, but when I do, I like them to look nice......Thx

I'm wanting to buy a Dymo Rhino 5000 printer. It will print on heat shrink tubing and on regular tape that wont smear from grease or heat ect. Looks really nice.

Google it and you will find free printer if you buy 10 tape carts at some sites.

In the past, I have used a Brother label maker, and it worked great.
It is time for me to upgrade to something bigger and better.

Well, it is a heck of alot better than what I see done around here and that is nothing. I rarely see a panel properly marked.

I've seen masking tape, pieces of paper stuck on with electrical tape--all kinds of things. Had a real messy panel the other day in a restaurant--customer did not want to pay any extra to clean it up--they don't realize that every new service person has to take extra hours to refigure everything out--in the long run it is costing them far more than it would to get it cleaned up once.:rolleyes:

I also carry a Brother label maker to make the bigger stickers for the outside of cans, disconnects, etc.
