Having bought a Bryant 288a Heat Pump , air handler, Evolution
thermostat I was eager for Mon 4/14 to arrive.
The installers from a reputable vendor brought with them an air
handler not configureable to the our furnace closet.
Oops, sales guy had measured, photographed the space.
The problem brought a supervisor out to our home, upshot being
a substitute air handler arrived Tues. The substitute
Bryant FV4BNB006, it was found late Tues, would not communicate
with the Evolution thermostat. Supervisor comment was something
like "you have 8 wires here* but have to have 9 to communicate."
Running new wire was not an option.
So, yesterday, T6 PRH A07045 thermostat was installed
instead of the Evolution. After hours trying and testing,
installers concluded they'd missed something in
the installation manual, or that new T6 PRH A07045 was
defective. So, last night we were on emergency heat,
and we wait for a repair guy today [Thu ] to replace the T6 PRH.
Does anyone have knowledge of the T6 PRH A07045?
