Check out the video. In Iran over a thousand women have been stoned to death for alleadged adultry (in some cases they were raped and tried to keep it secret and got pregnent and were thus "guilty")

Reminds me of the story from a few years ago about a teenage girl who was raped by her three brothers. Following Islam law, the girls mother killed her to protect the family honor. Apparently, the girl not being a virgin was a bigger threat to the family honor than having three rapists and a murderer.

The punishment doesn't fit the crime but I can think of cases here with children involved that I would be glad to have this option if I had been the parent.
