Hello all in the controls industry.
I'm from the residential/commercial end of things... and get
to mess with some controls on a rare basis.

I'm wondering if there are any resources I could read concerning
programming databases used with Carrier systems.... ie 6400 controller
I figure if I know how to make one tick... then it makes it
easier to diagnose.... and I'm just wanting to learn more.

I found some resources here (http://www.commercial.carrier.com/commercial/hvac/general/0,,CLI1_DIV12_ETI1876_MID4390,00.html)
but I can't find what I'm looking for.

After seeing a few systems... it looks like one could
set up a couple terminals on the 6400 to be a set of contacts
that could open/close according to another input.... ie Temp reading from
sensor X
or set up those terminals to drive an actuator via 4-20mA
Kind of a generic example..... but it'll do I guess
