Mod #48tmf025 100% o/a pops blower braker. Any way to set max open on econo

I'm not familiar with that particular model number, but Carrier units large enough to have a breaker for just the blower are similar. Its unlikely the economizer will cause this. Its a motor, belt, or blower problem. There is usually an adjustment on the damper motor or via the linkage.

sounds like the blower is not set up right. Assuming the breaker and wiring is ok. 100% outside air you are moving more air than you are when going through return air. Is the return big enough? For now I would adjust blower speed to get the amps where you need it while the outside air is open. Then I would get an air balance to see where you are at.

What is the lenth of your supply duct and return duct ,what controller is on the economiser?

Some chuckle-head might have just opened the sheave instead of adjusting the belt correctly. Wish I had a dollar for every time I've seen that. Check here http://www.xpedio.carrier.com/idc/groups/public/documents/techlit/48h,t-4pd.pdf for the blower charts though to see what it should be.
