Looking at a Submittal on a new trane CvhE/F. The Plant is stand alone Pumps and Towers are not interlocked through the Chiller, 24/7 Plant with Operator on Hand. The old Chillers are remote starter the new that may be selected is Unit mounted Starter. The ? is does the new chiller need a seperate 115V Feed? The Submittal says its line power operates purge,Oil ect. But when I see the Diagram it shows a 115V for Aux pump Relays ect.

Just mounted a CH530 on an old York chiller and had to re-engineer everything. The Trane panel does power the start signal, the purge, the oil heater and pump. Any external devices, like the oil pump we had to add, we had to power going through a Dual High Power Output board. Best of luck...

If you are going to have a unit mounted starter, 115vac should be wired from factory. Inorder for the ch530 to have control of the pumps, there will need to be a customer provided 115v to 1A5 board to start pumps, external relays for each pump. no adjustments in dynaview needed.

I also see the new Touch Screen that looks like it swivels and is field Installed? The Pumps are controlled beleive it or not with the Enginers on site. I'm going to feed the Chiller 115V if we switch to a current control method we can be done. My Trane Boy said they were getting alott of feed back from people looking for a panel like York. Yeah give me a pretty panel, I would take a UCP2 and R-113 trane before a York Millen. Thanks. Hows the Swivel screen Install?

The adaptaview...I've never installed one, haven't seen one in the field yet. I started up a McQuay dual 050 w/ the Microtech II which has the arm several years ago...that was field installed I believe. There's bound to be service guide w/ the chillers showing you something. Sorry can't help too much. I am glad to see that Trane got w/it for their latest panel.

When they rolled out the Adatpaview they showed how it mounted to the exsisting panel mounts. The arm they say is strong enough to handle field duty. Actually a really nice setup, and am anxious to see it to compare it to the Optiview. Hopefully the touchscreen will be a big selling point. The graphics are much better by the way.
