A: Yes!

But there are two people in this story even bigger morons:
The principal, and the MOTHER of that other girl that still thinks the guy is innocent!

The principle is a creep but just where did the mother of the teens think they were?

"Hey Mom, this guy I met online sounds really funloving and upbeat, sis and I are going to meet him at the motel. Be Back later!"
