i found this info from another forum poster.

i could not verify this info at the department of Defense.
although the first link is supposidly from there

i found two similar references.
(the first one is a "revised" edition"

this info is supposed to be taken from a Congressional report and it is highly doubtfull that someone would go through this kind of trouble to fabricate a document like this.

there are hundreds of websites that publish this info.

basically this information shows that slightly more troops have died during the Clinton administration then during the current one.

(this next year will pass it )

it shows that the US loses an average of 1000 to 2500 troops per year in whether there is a non declared "war" or not.

it also shows how the media picks and chooses what info it wants you to know and how they try to control political voting.

It isn't news that the media only tells us what they want us to hear. The problem is that too many people form an opinion based on one headline or a couple of 10 second sound bites without finding out what's really going on.

The war in Iraq is a good example. Notice how few stories there are lately about the war. The overall picture is very good, but the media chooses to ignore the fact.

Good point.

Another thing is so many people act as if Bush is the worst president, a war monger, etc.

But you got to step back and look at something here.
The internet didn't get into nearly everyone's homes until Bush came to office. When Clinton was in the office most people who had the internet were using DIAL UP. Videos were not spread around youtube and new sites so fast.

It is defenitely a slanted view now. AT least slanting a different way. I mean, with previous presidents you only got your info from the news. Not so much was spread on the internet like wildfire.

"basically this information shows that slightly more troops have died during the Clinton administration then during the current one....(this next year will pass it )"

And this next year is when the media will start to report that more troops died in the Bush administration than the Clinton administration.
