I have been doing alot of reading of various ducting and alot of site I have been to make mention of turning vanes. Although I know what they are and what there function is but I have yet to see what a turning vane looks like, can someone post a pic of what a turning vane might look like. Is this turning vane nothing more than a picec of sheet metal installed at the turning point of a 90* section of duct work inside to give the square corner a radius for the air to flow more freely ? or is this truning vane constructed differently in some fashsion ?

Well I guess I was close !!! But thank's for the link. Is a turning vane better than just installing a piece of sheet metal on the outside corner of the trunk run to help the air flow better?
