I am wondering what kind of information is available for a York Screw machine other than the supplied Installation, Operation and maintenance manual. I'd also like to know how to get any and all service bulletins for this machine.
What is the secret on getting my hands on this stuff so I can maintain operate troubleshoot and repair this machine better???

I used to maintain a pair of YSCBCBS1CGA's and there were no manuals to be found anywhere at the site. I went to York's website, did some surfing around and found every single manual that was ever printed for that chiller, have you looked at York? I know their website has been a pain in the arse to navigate but, the info is there.

Ivandykeman, the link you posted seems to be a Carrier website.
I'm trying to gather information for York equipment, particularly a YCWS.
I've been looking at the JCI website but have not found anything other the information that I already have, which is somewhat helpful for familiarizing myself with the piece of equipment but I know there has to be better manuals available.

MrNYC, I am currently weeding through the link you provided. I've had some luck in the past with that website, but it seems to only provide information that I already have.
I'd like to find bulletins for my YCWS also. I've emailed JCI but I've received no response. SURPRISE SURPRISE!!!

If the training center still exists in York, PA. Give them a call for the publication #'s. I remember (3) binders each for the chiller and solid state starter.

There are only two bulletins available on the YCWS.
1 - Replacement of DXS Compressor Motor Protection Circuit
2 - Improved Danfoss Solenoil Coil.
There are a couple information sheets out about updating EPROMs for slide valve issues at shutdown, minimum load controls, and freeze protection.
Publication number for the EPROM issue is 160.47-M2. The two bulletins (which York warranty should have fixed) are SB0083 and SB0056.
