Did I hear right that Carrier is installing trackers on all service vehicles?

Supposedly, at some point down the road the answer would be yes. This has to be taken with some consideration since we were told 10 years ago every tech would have a laptop 'puter with all the manuals loaded on it along with payroll input capabilities. We're still waiting for that so I wouldn't get my shorts all wadded up over it. Most of us will be retired before they get around to it. Besides, if you're where you supposed to be what difference does it make?
