I'm looking for a description of the alarm messages in the zn510. The one I am currently recieving just says 'Maintenance'. Does this indicate short cycling? or some other problem. Any reference to the alarm messages would be appreciated.

I believe Maintenence Req alarm is just a run timer that is set in the controller. After x hours the Maint Alarm comes in, used for filter/belt checks, etc..

If you dont need this function i believe you can just set the timer to 0 to disable it.

maintenance timer is defaulted to 600 hours. As scrooloose said, you can set this value to 0 (with Rover) to avoid alarms in the future. From Summit, you can reset the maintenance timer in the device editor.

Or use the Trane LNS plugins available here (http://www.trane.com/Commercial/DesignAnalysis/DownloadCenter.aspx?i=909) in the Building Controls section.

Thanks for the info guys. When I stop at the job today I will reset the timers or zero them out with through the plug-ins.
