Does any one use them in W/I freezers for superheat? I checked the Fluke site and the new ones are good to 14°F. Mine is about 10 years old and is probably the same. In the colder temps the display still works but it stops registering the probes. I warm it up under my coat when it goes out and then reconnect it after it warms up. Any ideas of a better way?

I have a 52 and a 16 the 16 is a cheaper meter and will stay on longer than the 52 in -10 freezer.I made a rig out of a piece of 2&1/8 armaflex put it in the freeze and hit record it would stay on long enough for the valve to swing about 4 times.

Hot water bottle or chemical heating pack works well.

I'm going to try both of those suggestions at the same time. I might try it on the old knees too ;) Thanks guys.
