i dont know what to think about homeland security and privacy. it seems to me that one will always conflict with the other.

i have nothing to hide from big brother and i dont care if big brother likes or dislikes the things i do or say so it doesn't matter to me if they wont to watch me or not. but i also respect others for wanting there privacy

I totally agree with you with these exceptions;

1) it cost money to spy on me and yet I have to foot the bill for something I didn't approve of

2)When they do finally cross the line, they have become too big and entrenched for me to do anything about it...this equals bloodshed :eek:

As long as Home Land Security is doing what they are supposed to do everything will be fine. If they get politized then we will be in trouble. You know like the FBI was a stand up organization while Hoover was running it and then when the Clinton's came in Hilliary got over a 1000 files from them on Republicans and conservatives so she could find some dirt. The FBI disregarded constitutional rights of private citizens and rules of engagement when they murdered the wife of a tax protester on Ruby Ridge. When the Democrats take over it all becomes big goverment out to screw over individuals.
