It is a good thing you are moving to AZ. At least there, the power company won't dictate the temperature of your home.
Seriously, best of luck to you.:)

Same as everywhere else, if you are good, you have work. High 20's-30's per hour, 40's if you're the sh!t.

Here are some local companies.

Hey what's up dude. Have you ever worked the biz in the Phoenix area?

OMG wait until you see the hackery and lack of building codes! Especially on the residential side!

Now I am doing strictly commercial and will stay that way. Even working in the union now with something to me in this area.... "a REAL technical training program!" 99% of the residential classes that the companies send you to are just all about how to sell something and them instructors knew less than me in many cases!

Anyway, maybe I'll see you at the local 469 on 24th street and thomas :)

Oh, if you want to see some good examples of Phoenix area hackery, go to youtube and just enter the search words "Hacked Trane" or "Hacked HVAC" and you will find a bunch of recent videos and photo clips on there.

Enjoy. :D

seriously, welcome to AZ ~!

You like them pretty girls as well eh?

We do a lot of work in a LARGE retail chain. So many hotties in there I can barely contain myself! ;)

There are two of these ratail chains down in Tucson. I have been down there a few times. I usually have lunch with my friend who's an installer down there.

It's real honorable that you are moving so you can be close to your children. Just think in Arizona you won't have to worry about latent heat, only sensible. I would love to be able to live there, good luck!

I think you can make more money selling car bumpers, hoods and trunk lids in Phoenix.

My wife and I were there for part of a week, she has family in Buckeye. Going to and from Phoenix proper out to the sticks, dayum!! They tailgate at about 75. I'm from Chicago, so I just thought I was going too slow, so I'd pull over to the next lane. Car behind stays at the same speed! This happened all week. Every trip between Phoenix and the 'burbs, we would see at least one, mostly two, accidents each trip. They all go the same speed, they just seem to like going the same speed on each others' bumper! I know, I know, some of you will say they're "drafting".

Wife and I are not into much in the way of nightlife, but we had three good meals at Alice Coopers' place..been a fan since childhood. Did anybody mention how it can be in the nineties at night?

In June/July it will be 100*F until the ten o'clock news, with lows of 85*F in the morning.
