Smoke/CO combos? Any thoughts?

Any experience with or recs for smoke/CO detectors? Looking to replace my 15 year old old interconnected hard-wired smokes with something more modern.

the best ones i use are FIREX combos and i like them.

That's the brand I need to replace. New Firex 12000 series. They go nuts at night after the temperature drops from the thermostat setback. I found out from their tech support you can't use them when the temperature drops much below ambient due to false alarms - more like random beeps. I'm looking for a model that is less temperature sensitive.
