Way back about 30 years ago, my boss sent the helper into Boston to pick up a two door upright freezer. Well it seems (once again) that there were no ropes or straps in the storage compartment. The helper gets some clothesline and ties the freezer at the front of the rack truck. He gets going on the south east expressway (those from around here know how bad it was) Well traffic is stop and go...he stops and then goes...the freezer breaks free and walks itself to the back end of the truck and does a flip over the gate and onto the road. This has the usual result and traffic comes to a complete stop, a state trooper shows up and has a push bumper that he uses to push the freezer of the road. If there was any hope of saving the freezer it was gone when he finished pushing it. Oh, the helper was not fired.

That brings up a point, you can never have enough ropes, straps, or extension cords.
