I know for sure three but most likely more. You get tired and you just flare that puppy without thinking.

In a row? None. But yes, I have done it. Just give me time though, I'm still new. :)

Nice! I've done it twice, on a mini split, in a rush to get done. I think it was on a Memorial day. Never happened again.

I've done many times in 18 years....but what really pi$$es me off is when I put the nut on backwards when I'm not paying attention.......:p

So, you're one of those slow, maticulous types that can make one 3/8" oil line run last all day, eh?;)

Multitasking while flaring copper or sweating a union is always a bad idea. If you are talking on your cell phone or watching what your helper is doing while working with flare fittings or unions, you are bound to screw up.

My four times in a row was while installing my mother's gas log kit in her fireplace. My damned crazy family kept distracting me, most of all my older brother for the thousandth time "do you need a dual-flux capacitor Ryan". He thinks it is the funniest thing that I work with "capacitors". Not so funny after about a week in this field, eh?

Never left the nut off multiple times, but have made the flare too big a few times in a row
