I am looking into getting a Goodman self-contained electric heat pump/AC unit for my metal workshop. Just wondering if Goodman was a good brand and what size/BTU I would need.

My shop is '30x'40 with '10 ceilings. I have roll type insulation wrapped around the framing before the metal was installed. I live in Kentucky.

Thanks for any help.

Not enough info to tell you what size.
The brand is fine.
Click on the hvac calc link, and do your own load calc.

I can't use the calculator. I have a Mac computer. It won't run the ms-dos program.

If it's Intel based, you can install windows. (dual boot)

HVAC-calc doesn't run on dos; nothing does these days.

If you have plans, or the specs of the building, plus the usage, and equipment that will be used.
Soneone might be able to do a load for you.
