A friend of mine installed an M8102NX controller on an existing site that had Webctrl thinking that he would be able to program it using the Eikon for Webctrl. As I understant the program has to be generated in the older version of Eikon which I have. However I do not know if there is any other steps involved other then importing the Eikon program generated in Supervision to make it work. It's currently in the CMnet network.
Which drivers do we use?

The M8102NX can have either an Exec. 6 (SuperVision or early WebCTRL) driver, or an Exec. B Driver (more recent WebCTRL). In order to use Eikon for Webctrl or Eikon LogicBuilder, the module must be upgraded to Exec B. firmware. This is a field downloadable firmware upgrade.

Thanks CtrlBuilder, what's the easiest way to do this? Can I build the program in Eikon Interop and then import it? I am not sure if the rest od the modules on the cmnet have been upgraded, is there a way to tell?
Thanks much for your help!

If your friend has WebCTRL on his system, he should have an Exec. B module driver for the M8102NX.
He needs to open Sitebuilder, add the M8102NX to the network (right hand side); it will ask him to select the module type; by selecting M8102NX, the correct module driver will be provided into the database.
After installing and addressing the module onto the network, when he downloads the memory to the module using WebCTRL, it should install the Exec. B driver.
