I am looking to put this purifier on my current system if costs/installation allows. I currently have a CTA070. What are the + / - for this product?? Anything i should be afraid of besides the upfront cost and the replacement filter cost. THank you for your help!

As with most all "better" filters,it has more PD(pressure drop, think resistance to air flow),then your existing filter.

You need a contractor that will tet the "static"(again, think resistance of ducts and a/c coil to air flow) of your existing system, then compare that to the fan data for your model. This will tell if you can add the resistance of the filter, and still maiantain the required minimum air flow for effeciency and not damage the equipment.

If the existing static is too high ,usually the return ducts can be modified so you can use the filter.
