Considering getting a 12,000 BTU unit for an add-on to our house. We live in Dallas and the room is 350 sq.ft.
Any opinions on this product - or your 'best mini-split recommendation'?
thx.
yeah that "wall art" is cool. I guess it depends on what you think about the indoor unit (visually). We install Fujitsu which I think is a good product. Do some research and see where performance and your pocket book meet.

Daikin, Mitsubishi Mr. Slim, Sanyo, EMI, ...
Are there > 2 windows ( 30 square feet total) in the addition?
Do you like to maintain 72'F or 80'F?
Is a one-ton heat pump unit appropriate?
How does the unit perform at Dallas winter design temperature of 24'F or summer design temperature of 98'F ?
Do you wish to keep room at > ~ 66'F when it is < 30'F?
Note: < 200 hours at < 30'F from temperature bin data.
