a little help boys . i tried to fire up a new goodman gas 90+ yesterday and got the inducer to run but no ignitor. code flashing 3 times(presure switch stuck open or flue pipe , condensate drain pluged ) all clear. before some trane salesman busts my balls for installing goodman it was at the job all i was to do is tie it in and fire it up.(gota love charity work when it goes like this)

This might sound kinda dumb....but did you check the 3amp fuse on the board? Have had this happen before. Many times the Goodman's don't shut completely down when the fuse is blown and act as if they are trying to bring on the heat.

Is the condensate trap primed with water?
Don't know about Goodman, but I know this will cause a similar fault code in York equipment.

yes 3 amp fuse was good and no goodman does not need condensate trap primed.

It sounds to me like your flue is clogged or fan isn't getting up to speed to create vacuum to make pressure switch for unit to progress to next sequence. Check your flue, make sure your inducer motor isn't full of water. Do you hear gurgling when it start spinning? Maybe the flue is hooked up wrong, maybe the series of tubes that drain are hooked up wrong. Maybe bad pressure switch, rubber tube clogged up between hx and pressure switches?

What was the actual pressure reading at the switch? There is really nowhere else to go until you know that.

hate to put it this way but
pull out the instalation book read it and do what it says to do
then read the trouble shooting in the back of the book to find out what was done wrong or right
