I need help on diagnosing this unit it is a little over a year old and has had one compressor change. I am getting a vaccum and 175 on high side. amp draw on compressor is 4.8 rated 8 amps. lo side pipe temp is 66 and high side entering condenser is 110 and exit is 72 I did evacuate this unit and I got oil in my hoses, recharged and got the same results. The compressors on theses units are famous for going out. The refrigerant is 404A compressor model is ACC MPT12CD model number on unit is KDC87.
I think I have a restiction or a bad compressor. Please help and advise as to what to do if it is a restriction?
Thanks Paul

Did you use nitrogen when you changed out the comp.
Did you change out the cap tube strainer when you did the comp.
At 175 head pressure, and liquid line temp of 72, you only have 8* subcool.
Shut it down and see if the pressures equalize. If so your scale could be off.

I did not change the compressor, I will clear out lines then replace the filter drier evacuate and recharge I will use nitrogen both to clear lines, solder and pressure check for leaks. If you have anything else I should do before I recharge this sytem I would greatly appreciate any advice! Thanks Paul

Check your scale to see if its acturate at measuring ozs.
It could be telling you that you put in 12ozs. when you only have 9ozs in.
