Hi I need help on troubleshooting this unit it is a year or so old has had one compressor change alread. I am getting a vaccum on low side and 175 on high side pipe tem on low side is 66 degrees hi side 110 degrees into condenser and 72 coming out. the amp draw is 4.8 rated at 8 amps. I evacuated this unit and got oil in my hoses then recharged and ended up with the same results. Does anyone have any ideas? I think I have a restriction or a bad compressor. These compressors are famous for popping. The compressor is an ACC MPT12CD 404A. Thanks for your help, Paul

Model number of unit is KDC87

I'm sorry you didn't get any responses to your problem. I completely missed your post, too. You really should have posted in the Refrigeration & Icemaking forum. That would have put it in front of all the Fridgies here on HVAC-Talk.

If it's any consolation, here's a link to the factory service manual for that unit:

http://www.beverage-air.com/pdfmanuals/DIPPING%20CABINETS%20SERVICE%20MANUAL%202003.pdf

So what did you find was going on with this machine and how did you fix it?

Hi thanks for the link! I recovered the refrigerant removed the drier and pinched off the outlet to condenser leaving the cap tube site open then I pumped up unit with nitrogen to blow out cap tube. This worked great and i could tell when it had cleared I replaced the filter drier evacuated and charged with fresh refrigerant. Ran unit check superheat to compressor and checked pressures and unit ran great good amp draw etc.. Thanks again i did get help from here. Paul
