I noticed there is an entire line of heat pumps and furnaces by Ruud.
Could anyone educate me as to what models are higher end in the heat pump line? The furnace line?

Thanks for the links. I've looked at the exact same pages, but they are a little vauge. For instance the PJA series HP has less warranty than the UPNE series, but the UPNE is listed at the bottom of the list:confused:
I'd appreciate any Ruud experts to reccomend one series over the other.
Thanks guys.

The PJA is a POS. Run!!!
Anything rectangular is great. But when they brought back the cubes, the heat pump versions have been a nightmare. The A/Cs are fine.
The rest of the units are fine, all nice units. The RPNE/RPNL are 13 SEER units and they go up from there. The cubes are the bottom units, I don't know why they show the others lower on the page.

Thanks! The HVAC man I've been talking with wants to put in a RPNE.

That's a 13 SEER Rheem heat pump (R-22). Ask him about a R410a unit (RPNL, RPPL, etc.)

Agree go with the RPNL-0XXJEZ, if you need a furnace, put it on the Mod90
