"The retired General Kerr who asked about gays and lesbians serving in the military at the CNN/YouTube Republican debate on Wednesday is a co-chairman of Hillary Rodham Clinton (http://www.politico.com/candidates2008/demcandidates/hillary_clinton_candidate.html)'s National Military Veterans group.

CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, who moderated the debate and the panel, said that if that was the case, CNN should have identified Kerr as such.
David Bohrman, a CNN senior vice president and executive producer of the debate, later said: "We regret this and apologize to the Republican candidates."

Kerr told CNN that he had not done work for the Clinton campaign, and CNN verified before the debate that he had not contributed money to any candidate, the broadcaster said in a blog post after the debate.
Kerr told CNN he is a member of the Log Cabin Republicans and was representing no one other than himself, CNN said.
On Thursday, Clinton campaign spokesman Phil Singer said the retired general "is not a campaign employee and was not acting on behalf of the campaign."

Hilliary and Bill are masters of deceit and dirty politics. The General lied and now Hilliary is to saying that he is not part of her campaign. What a lier she is. Kerr was also active in John F. Kerry's 2004 campaign for president.

After very little digging it appears that CNN yet again missed info for several "Democratic plants". Just highlights the liberal media spin.

Hmmmm......Does it say anything about the candidate's courage that the republicans are willing to debate on CNN, a liberal new organization but the Dems are unwilling to debate on fox?

on an off note, debates should be one on one, with the front runners facing off!

in other words the number 1 and 2 guys in the polls should debate each other

then the number 3 and 4 guys in the poll should debate each other

then the number 5 and 6 guys in the poll should debate each other, and so on, and so on!

oh ya and no lightning rounds, this is not a game show!

wait a minute this might make to much sense for politicians

remember when your a politician 1+1=3

While the candidates did not all get the same amount of time to speak, the debate is supposed to give people a chance to make up (or change) their minds about whom to support. If someone is polling at one percent I have nothing against him standing on the same stage as a front runner, especially if that front runner's support is undeserved.
