Nope, I really don't see a pattern here to justify profiling, do you?

So, to ensure we North Americans never offend anyone, particularly fanatics
intent on killing us, airport

security screeners will no longer be allowed to profile certain people. They
must conduct random searches

of 80 year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper
identification, secret agents of the President's
security detail, 85-year old Congressmen with metal hips, and Medal of Honor
winning and former Governor

Joe Foss, but leave Muslim males between the ages 17 and 40 alone because
profiling is discriminatory and

not nice.

Let's send this to as many people as we can so that the Gloria Allreds and
other dunder-headed attorneys

along with Federal Justices that want to thwart common sense, feel doubly
ashamed of themselves -

if they have any such sense.

Actually this one is incorrect Muslim extremist male and female including one or two that were pregnant and wasn't there a couple with a young child. The explosives were going to be in the infants bottle.

I think we should profile and consider all people of Arab appearance guilty on till proven harmless.

When I fly I look over every one and check them out closely before we board the plane. If some one looks hinky I am not above make my feelings known.

I haven't to this date seen anyone on my flights that concerned me. However many of the people working in the airport including the boarding areas. Here in Houston we have Muslim women in head scarf’s and all selling flowers, pretzels and other stuff in the boarding area. The same is true of some of the baggage security people.

What is strange these people were never there before 9/11 but they are now.

In this country, we cant profile with out the risk of a lawsuit. Thats what happens when you live in a melting pot society that caters to minorities.
Its a damn shame Roscoe, watching our America get taken over by subhumans.

I agree that anyone of suspicion should be considered suspicious and if that means profiling on certain races or people from specific cultures in situations where they have proven out to be the most likely candidate then so be it. But I certainly don't consider them "subhuman". That's just rude and unnecessary.

Someone sent that to me and I agree with it.

We all profile it's in us as an animal instinct.

I don't have a problem with a TSA agent or any law enforcement officer pulling someone who would fill the Muslim extremist profile aside and questioning them. I also think they should be treated like citizens not terrorist.

But I don't think they should be able to call foul or demand special treatment, because they are Muslim.

Perhaps the word subhuman is offensive maybe inferior and mentally challenged would be better. A report from a top scientist basically says that the human race is splitting into two groups over the next 100,000 years.

Unfortunately racial differences will be a thing of the past. The Asians, Blacks and Chicanos are proud of their race and I am proud of mine even though a lot of Whites including most liberals are not and are plagued by "White guilt". Any how time will tell.

You know, thinking about everyday life, we all "profile" to some extent. I know that if I see a well dressed person carrying a briefcase or portfolio coming into our shop, be ready for the sales pitch! I also know that if I see someone coming in with a bill in their hand either beware the irate customer, the pleased/paying customer or the price shopper. But, I only know this because of my predisposition to think this or profile of people. In other words, experience has led me to believe this.
If history had led us to believe that middle aged white women from the united states with brown hair were the majority of terrorist threats, I would expect to be looked at in that light. It's just human nature! Cats and dogs generally don't get along. If they do then fine, when they don't then no one should be surprised, it is in their nature.

To answer your question, while someone who would murder a child commits, in my estimation, the most heinous of acts, the murderer is still human. That is a fact you will just have to deal with.

Does that murderer deserve respect? I don't think so but we would be less if he/she were treated as something less than human.

What prey tell does that have to do with profiling?

Everyone profiles, few will admit to it on the stand though. It's not so much the profiling, It's more how one put's it to use in their given occupation. It should be one piece of information, when combined with other factors will dictate appropriate action by a well trained individual.

About 2 months after 911 I had a job at Kirkland AFB. I pulled in to get my pass. I parked next to a suv and looked up to see 6 women in berkas geting into the suv. The berkas where you can see their faces anyway They had been able to get a base pass and drove on to the base.

I guess I profiled that one. I looked at the guard and he just shruged.

Just seemed strange with all the security at that time.
