so my dad, the liberal lightning rod, tells me, gas prices are high because the money is going to run the war.
"really?, then why was gas 1.91 per gallon when Clinton was in office?"
"BLAHHHHHHH!!! IT WAS NEVER $1.91"
"ok whatever"
so then i go to some little store, some Muslim guy straight off the boat tells me, his electric bill is $2900.00 per month because the money is going to run the war.
so then , today at work, some plumber we hired who's from New York tells me, we have to pull permits, and the homeowners have to pay permit fees, because the money is going to run the war.
of course, se had to pull permits before the war, but facts are irrelevant aren't they.
liberals walk around and try to paint political colors, everytime a democrat is in office they try to whitewash everything, when a republican is in office they try to tell you how grim everything is.

The source of the misinformation is the presidents political enemies. But the scary part is that people are dumb enough to actually believe it.

Anybody who is unwilling or isn't smart enough to look up the facts should be ignored.
And hope that they are unwilling or aren't smart enough to vote. ;)

Unfortunately one thing Dems & Libs are good at is "getting out the vote" Their vote, that is.

Are you saying that the 'cons and republicans don't take this approach as well? I mean, come on, how do you think a bozo, like George W. Bush got elected?
Yeah, both parties are good at "getting out the vote" my friend, thats politics for ya.
Can you say "district gerrymandering"?

George Bush was elected because there was no alternative. Bush was never my choice either here in Texas as Governor or in DC as President. However Al Gore or Edwards or anyone else on the Democrats side is a far worse option.
The biggest problem is that even the Republicans are now liberals and not conservatives. Virtually all politicians are now tax and spend liberals except for the fruit loops like Ron Paul.

It's the Zeitgeist of America in the new century...

Let's hope the Zeitgeist in the U.S. remains individualistic. ;) I'd just hate seeing John Wayne riding off into the sunset demanding prescription drug coverage from our government.
