But only in SC, his home state. Between him and Jesse Jackson, SC has a lot to be ashamed of.

I say everybody for Colbert, move to SC now!

Could you imagine one state beating the other 49 states.

SC only has 8 electoral votes, so no, I can't imagine it. :p

He's running because Doritos is sponsoring his show and they would only do so if he ran for president.

LOL! That's a better reason than some of his 'competitors' have for running.:D

There is still hope for your dream!

Just have most of the population of the US move to SC, and establish it as their permanent place of residence, for the 2010 census.
Then in 2012 SC will have enough electoral votes to trump the rest of the nation.!

It might put a little strain on the states infrastructure though. :p

Now he's having to file with the "cheaper" party. Seems the fee to file as a Republican is much steeper...

Democratic party?!!:(:confused::eek:

Why not just run as an independant?:confused:

I know it's all for show, but if your going to pick a party and have to pay to get on a ballot, I would think independant would be the cheaper way to go.

Plus, what does this doe to equal public airtime? I know they don't enforce it much, but the other candidates don't have their own TV show.

Nah, it won't. We never let a little increase in population bother us. Heck, we're just now getting roadways up to snuff for traffic of 25 years ago.

Nah. We wouldn't strain at all.
