This Q is from a new guy in training. The situation is this: regarding the installation of cold water sensors on fan coils, I'm guessing that the correct placement would be after the strainer. Did I guess right? Unfortunately, because of certain issues like time constraints, available insulation, and drop-ceiling access, I've been putting them on convenient spots.

I guess I don't understand the question, cold water sensor on fan coils?

I believe the sensors are for the zone T-stats and Bldg. Automation. I'll find out more today. Note: the bldg. chilled water is pumped through these fan coil units.
