Helping my bother trying to solve the strange operation of his 1 year old Furnace.
It is a Unitary Products Model GF9S100C16VP11G. Everything seems to be operating correctly, but the burner keeps cycling on and off during a call for heat with the thermostat not satisfied (Honeywell Heating/Cooling Mercury model). He just started it up for the season and he seems to think it did not run this way last year. The LED on the control board is Blinking Amber while the burners are on then flashes Green when they are off. The discharge air is warm but does not really seem to be heating the house sufficiently. The burners never seem to be on for more then 2 minutes at the most, then will restart after a minute or so and continue with the same on and off frequency. The inducer blower is starting and stopping as well but the main blower stays on. Does this seem to be correct operation?
