Yes, we can work out somenthing to help offset the cost of moving. What I have done in the past is to advance an allotment and remove it from the books at a $50.00 per month worked ratio. Example- $600.00 advance would disappear in a 12 month period.

testing the waters is a good thing it gives you a chance to find out what your market value is, everybody does it
but the offering company has to set themselves apart some how from the rest with benefits and working atmosphere and are truly the keys and the guys in the office aren't the ones you are working with so good guys in the office really don't matter, its the front line guys and you don't know how they will react to you and your skills
sorry for hi-jacking your thread merken

No. Call and we can talk about anything you want. This business at times require a place to let off steam and discuss things. If you are interested in a a job eveb better.
My reason for hiring a Tech ts to replace my service supervisior that died of a heart attack about two weeks ago. He had stopped on the way home to look at a friend's A/C and fell over and died on the unit.
Domenick was an excellant Tech and and a first class person. Big shoes to fill, also a good person who will be missed by everyone.:(:)
But life goes on.

Company get into commercial refrigeration, I'm a 27 year vet of the feild and have been doing some window shopping just in case it gets really slow around here in the near future. I'm single, 47 years old, no kids, have owned a small business for 16 years now. My health is good, 175 lbs. lean and mean.
I do like the refrigeration part the most but currently do H.V.A.C. commercial and industrial, NO RESIDENTAL....
I would also need to know what the living expense situation is around that neck of the woods, I lived in Melbourne back in the 80's and worked for Southern Climate A/C Contractors. At that time it was high, I can only imagine its gotten much higher.
Sincerely
Joe

I'm originally from Charleston SC and I don't find the cost of living here extremely higher than Charleston. I came here from San Francisco and the cost dropped like a rock from California.
I think it's all relative but the cost of a house has drastically dropped in the last several months from last summer. This is a great area to live in even with the threat of hurricanes.
I'd suggest that you look at the cost of housing and see if you can make it on a 40 hour week at the salary you expect to get. In Clearwater you will have a salary from 20-24 per hour if you are a top Tech. This may mean looking for the right position as the top pay generally goes to the Techs with senority.
Your question actually has no answer as one person may think the money is good considering the living conditions etc, while another will not.
I love living in Florida and could be making a lot more in CA or another state, but like I said it depends on the person. Not much of an answer, but I don't want to mislead anyone with promises about the cost of living here.
I still consider it living in paradise and think of it as I'm living in the state I want to retire in.
