Frozen and I were playing in a horseshoe match for the championship of the world...... Scott wanted us to quit [while there was still light  ] and I had given up and was trying to just wait for Allen and Otto to win. We went a few rounds with them only needing a point to win. Froze threw his shoes into the sandy soil by the pin and told me "That looked like a ringer". Otto threw and scored a solid 1 point and walked up and declared himself a WINNER! Whoa, whoa whoa, froze and I yelled, lets look under that shoe. We brushed back the sand and lo and behold, a 5 point ringer. Once again I am part of the champ team at the HVAC convention....... thanx to my partner!

Nice shootin there Dennis!

Thanks bud, But it takes a team to tango. You scored the first sixteen, then I got lucky with the last five. :D

1 point for closest shoe within the width of the open end of the shoe. 2 points for a shoe leaning aginst the stake. 3 points for a ringer.
Not that anyone asked me :D Just trying to help ;)

Sirs, as I recall.......and correct me if I'm wrong............I know of only one team that walked off undefeated that fine night. And Frozen Spotts it was not.

Since the gentelman was in the game, I would not question his scoring count. My apologies.

Yea, we all shoulda headed out there at noon. There was only a couple of games thrown. Thats why we went with the 1-3-5 scoring, just to try to get another game in.

Meanwhile down at the pool hall. Robo and old bennie held the table for a while. Mostly because of Robo's shooting and the other teams shooting themselves in the foot. :D

While we are on sports.......... Otto won the best belly flop competition with a score of 9-1-1. :D
