Why is the administration endorsing a plan to give the Saudi's and others 20 billion dollars worth of advanced weapons and technology?
What have the Saudi's done to help out in Iraq and Afghanistan?
Provide logistical support? That's a fancy way of saying "You can use this portion of our country but we won't help you".
They don't want to be seen by other Arab countries as supporting a war against other Arabs? Their leaders are old and weak and the country is well known as a place that breeds terrorists and their leaders.

Isn't it a risky policy to flood a region with advanced weapons and hope that they don't end up in the wrong hands?

Look at past weapons deals and please tell me how this makes sense.

Yep, seems rather idiotic to me. Kinda like when Clinton allowed American companies to market spy satellite technology to the Chinese in March of 94. Not smart, indeed.

Look at it this way. If we were not, North Korea, Russia and China would be. They would take the 20 billion and build ICBM's

What makes you think they're not?

They're helping the Iranians right now.
If the Chinese or Russians could get a good fuel deal with the Saudi's they'd do the same thing for them.

Would you spend 20 billion on a Chinese fighter jets? They can't even make tooth paste and dog food that won't kill.

LOL
I'm more worried about their missile and bomb making capabilities, especially with all the technology that's been dropped into their laps.
Them and the Russians could help do some serious damage in The Straits of Hormuz.
I don't know all the particulars and the history of what's gone on, but it seems as if we come to the aid of supposed friends over there and they end up using our aid to kill us.

Nice try Einstein.
You really should try being honest about what you truly believe the 2nd amendment expresses.
Read it aloud to yourself a few times if you have to, to get the feel of what the bill is addressing.....
and then stop hijacking my thread, meat! :D

Ya, but its American companies that sell the junk to us for a handsome profit without a second thought of any damage the products may cause to American citizens. If those jets can make those crooks money we will soon see them flying around in America.
