I know this subject has been beat to death. No doubts it's a money saver. But what do I look for in a brand, preforated or solid, foil over foil or foil-foam-foil. Comparing the different products can give you a headache. I have found several different products on the internet and ebay. Now I'm really confused. Who has good experience with what brands? Thermokool, Radiant Gaurd, these any good? I plan on putting it on the underside of the roof joists, roof end walls, and redoing my utility room off the kitchen. It is a west facing wall with foam insulation between the interior paneling and outside brick veneer. I will have to redo the whole room but this room gives off too much heat in the spring and summer. I believe it will be well worth it. I will install it behind the interior paneling and remove the foam insulation panels so ther will be an air gap. Will this work?
