today i turned on the spanish station and they are still trying to make the Minute Man protests look like a massive incident.

when is the last time you have seen a report about the Minute Men on your channel.

the spanish stations have been showing this non-stop.

what is happening in this country where we have major media trying to instigate violence on the last of the American population, by people from a foreign nation?

Like all news reporting of these days, they are driven by the topics that can get the most attention, and advertisers. Why is Paris Hilton on the news? Same reason the minutemen are on Telemundo.

And, for allot of the viewers of those stations, the topic seems pretty important, don't you think?

Actually, I am more baffled that you are in amazement of the topic...

And by the way, nearly all of the American population is or are decendents of immigrants, so I still don't understand your language regarding the issue. If you where an (Let's say legal) Mexican immigrant, you too might fear a band of marauding rednecks making a falsetto attempt at patrolling our border. How long before one of these guys get hurt or worse killed? Or target someone innocent? I say, leave it to the pro's...

not at all

nearly all of the American population is or are decendents of immigrants

from the 5 countries i have heritage from, not one realitive came here illegally, not one was disrespectful to the country, not one flew their native flag, not one refused to learn and speak english, not one tried to organize against America.

I say, leave it to the pro's...

but what happens when the "pros" no longer enforce the law or have loyalty to America?

Why not? If it where some kind of news that might concern you, or a family member, the it certainly is important...

Do you know this as fact? I doubt it, but enlighten me a little. Can you tell me what countries they came from, and when?

I frequently fly my native flag of Denmark, right along side with the Stars and stripes. Do you have a problem with that? If so, I think you are warped.

People where also lynched at one time by people that "no longer" thought that law enforcement was doing it's job. Should we revert back to that kind of vigilante violence? Do you think the people in Tanzania, with all the vigilante violence is a better system? We pay for these professionals to so the job, if you are not satisfied with their performance, write your congressman.

In America, we have something called "due process" this is extended to all people in the country, including non-citizens. If you think this is wrong, write your congressman.

Define "loyalty to America"....

If I may ask, why do you fly the Danish flag.

For the same reason my family flew the American flag when we lived in Denmark.

National and cultural pride.

Due process OK. But when senators try to attach a provision in a farm bill that would give "Illegal" immigrants health coverage and government handouts, ThAT is wrong.

Hell the Danish are not trying to take over the country, change our language and culture or sneak in illegally like the Mexicans are. That's the reason why we need to defend our culture or values and Denmark and other European countries is where we got our Western values from not from Mexico or other 3rd world countries. So if you see a Mexican flag flying then it should raise your blood pressure if you are a real American.

Glen is making a strong point, oloe. The north African Muslims are doing to Europe what the Mexicans are doing to us. Might want to rethink this.

I'm Hispanic(Puerto Rican) I'm the son of an Immigrant.
My father , and his brothers and sisters came here in the late 30's.
Granted because Puerto Rico is a territory, citizenship in not necessary as even we are regarded as Americans if were were born on the Island.
the point is, my grandparents got good Legal Jobs.
My Grandfather worked in the Mead ( think back to school supplies) Factory
and my grandmother worked in the Legendary Monterey Cannery Row.
the read the local news paper to learn how to speak english.
they assimilated to our culture, our way of life. out side of the home
in places of commerce or buisness they storngly belived in speaking English, because that was the right thing to do!
asa child they raised me until I was 6. I spoke fluent spanish up to that point, but my grandfatherwas adamant that I learned english aswell!
we watched Giants games everyday! I helped my grandfather
run copper wire from the garage to his livingroom transistor radio, so he could pick up short wave music stations from cuba.
A sound I will never forget! my grandparents instilled in my father and later in me the importance of recognizing what this country was about and the oppertunitys that await for those that work for them!
while never losing sight of our own culture in addition to the new one we Choose to reside in!

I cannot Stand to see any hispanic but especially mexicans that adress me in Spanish or in places of buisness in spanish.
or that i have to push 1 for english!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Moreover I cannot stand their Accordian/Circus music blaring at all hours of the night and day, while their children in diapers run the streets!
there's a million cars in front of their house, and one of them is to lazy to get out of the car to go to the door for someone in side, so they sit there and honk there horn forever!!!!!
but the single thing that really chaps my A$$ is whn I see them fly their flag, but especially on 4th of july. I refuse to celebrate cinco de mayo or julio cesar chavez day, which patronizes a man who raised cain for benefits for Illegal non citizenship earning immigrants , to have better benifits etc!
this was and is BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!! and yet it's taught in our schools like it's their right in this country!

This is gold! This is also the precise reason I DO fly my nations flag, alongside the US flag. It's not out disrespect, but for pride, for the two nations I identify with.

LOL!!! I see you have lived/or live in the "barrio".... This stuff was the nonstop circus I got to see everyday when I lived in Downtown San Jose, CA.

Did you know, when I lived in Denmark, alot of people there actually celebrate Fourth of July! It's one of the few days where all the Danish patriots (pretty much every house has a flag pole, because Danes are fanatical about their flag. It's flown on every special occasion, from weddings, birthdays, aniversarys, funerals, and for X-mas... If you have never seen a birthday cake decorated in Danish flags or a Danish flag christmas tree garland, you have seen nothing!!) actually fly the stars and stripes!!

So, I see no problem in flying the Danneborg on special occasions... If you think it's treason, come on by and ask why I fly it. You might be suprised at the explanation you get.

I was born and Raised in San Jose, CA until I was about 8.
East San jose in the projects off of McGlaughlin av. I know all about the "Barrio!" strangly enough San jose is no longer dominated by hispanics, it is now ALL ASIAN AND EAST INDIAN! with outcropings of hispanics and others.
all the mexi's moved to the valley when it the Dot.com buisness exploded
and the cost of living started to get bad.

My parents moved us to Pittsburg, CA ( all black steel mill town) a sister city to oakland in every sense possible: Crime, Race ETC ETC ETC!
and I have stories about growing up in an all black hood too!;)

Needless to say, being one of a few hispanic kids in all black schools and not being a big guy , you learn to grow up fast!you take your lumps and dish some out too.:D ;)

coincidently my highshool and some of the others around the area have had a continually high rate of military recruits with the marines seeing the most recruits from the area! I always figured it was the "rough enviroment" growing
up that cemented the warrior Ethos in us and motivated us to join and capitalize on it!
