once upon a time , in a city far far away, i was a security guard.

i decided i needed to get into something else so i went to trade school, i had an interest in air conditioning and decided to get into it because the profit is massive and the government is turning it into a luxury expense.

i've worked for two major companies now and they literally want me to work for free.
...by the time their BS is done , i'm talking $400 per week.

air conditioning and plumbing are TWO HIGH PROFIT trades , most of the people at my work live in an apartment and live check to check.

WHEN IS ENOUGH , ENOUGH?[/

these people bill customers OVER 10 GRAND for AC systems, then throw us a couple of peanuts.

THERE'S NEVER AN END TO RAISING PRICES , HIGHER PROFITS, AND WAGE CUTTING.

right now , if i get an "apprentice" postion in the union , it looks that i will be making a higher yearly average then messing around with these greed companies.

it's true i can make $1700 in one day , but when you spread that over the monthly average , it's not crap.

i know what many of you are thinking , "the union? BOOOOOOO"

i'm not for the union either, the union extorts money from the workers, donates it to the democrats , and the democrats sell the trade out to china, and say America can't "compete"

who is this government and what is this assult on the working class?

they'd rather pay some young chick to sit in the office and file paperwork then pay a decent wage to the technical field grunts.

anyone who has to sweat is on their hit-list.

i think the time has come for the union to gain more strength to pull more wages from the golf fund.

some people like the union , some people don't

but what no one seems to understand is , anything can be corrupted,

the union can be a good thing and do it's job to fight for workers, or it can be filled with Godless people who try to raise ages to stupid levels, so the companies have an excuse to go over seas.

what is needed more then anything else is NATIONALISM, people need to start telling the government that if they sell it here, they're going to make it here.
if we do this there will be plenty of money for everyone , don't let them scare you.

and any politician that doesn't agree needs to be removed, one way or another.

this is the first generation where the kids are worse off then the parents, and it's not minor either , it's MAJOR.

how long are we going to sit here, defend the rich, and watch america go down the drain?

Who determined that this generation is worse off than their parents? Probably some whiner.

I got tired of working for a$$holes like myself, who started their businesses to have some freedom, and make alot of money.

I know some of my guys rip me off, use my trucks, tools, and supplies to work on the side. Some even try to steal my customers, the ones they take usually come back after something can't be fixed by the moonlighter.
I love it when the customer comes back, I get to charge him for all the money he thought he saved, then I sent the moonlighter back to put the parts in, SWEET!

I know the ones who moonlight, these are the ones who I don't care about.
Now the ones who don't rip me off (much), are treated very nicely. They get the nice cool basements, while the others get the hot attics, dirty crawl spaces, and beat up trucks.

Not to say you fit any of these models, but remember you are choosing to be a worker, and your boss is choosing to own the company.

Not to say you fit any of these models, but remember you are choosing to be a worker, and your boss is choosing to own the company.

And thats why some of us make the choice not to work for someone, and choosing to work for them selves. For some of us it's not about money, but freedom.
