We made hotel reservations at Virgina Lake, VA. This is for Thursday night.
We are suppose to met up with Michelle (Southern Girl) and her BF. The next day we are caravaning down to W-S. Hopefully we will get in early Friday afternoon.

Our partying will start on Thursday.:D But I forgot to ask if SG is staying at the "smoke house" or the "old folks home.":confused: Who's in charge of the tail gate party? Let us know where it is. We'll be there.

"I think" that we ought to get these NC folks use to us right away and have the tailgate party on the grassy median on Cherry Street. That should be right in the middle of the two hotels.

Is this pre tailgate party gonna happen????

If y"all are gonna make some sausages and stuff, I'll bring some fresh picked sweet corn down with us. Miss Lynda grew some delicious sweet corn and had to fight of the resident deer around here. http://www.heaterman.com/2007_0729camera0001.JPG

She got so mad at this whitetail, that we had deer loins last weekend.

We will bring some down and the cooker to eat it in the parking lot. Now if we can get Jerry to bring some of that super sharp cheddar from Vermont we would be all set. Of course I will bring more of that delicious Iron City Light beer and maybe a bottle of Cap't. What do Y'all say?

Nah. It's a molasses based pie filling with a sugar crumb topping. Sometimes referred to as wet bottom pie.

jpb2 and I will scope things out early Friday. If we see an opportunity to tailgate, we will find the brats....and a disposable BBQ.

1st we will have to find BEER and a Styrofoam cooler.
