Good post. A non party line vote for sure, more on area of the country. Both of ours voted Yea.:rolleyes:

Thank you for straighting out the link. I live in NY and both my Senators voted yea. Shame on them. Their vote is public record. The people should know those who represent them are for. In my case, it is Mexico and Central America.:mad:

You're welcome whec and I wholeheartedly agree with you and understand your anger.
I really don't understand the mentality of the people on capitol hill.
They have turned the whole idea behind a solid plan that removes illegals into bunch of rhetorical folly to make it appear as though voting against the legislation is unpatriotic!
IMO, anyone who supports legislation that allows a "guest worker" program is acting in an unpatriotic fashion.
I was suprised to see that Virginia and NC voted NAY, even Jim Webb.
I commend them for that.
