So we consume more energy than any other species on earth... So what we are the only ones who freaking need it.

I don't see what the point would be of even doing a study like this. So what we eat 90%of all green stuff we grow. If the deer want more then they just go eat more they aren't starving.

The only thing I can firgue is that it was a study done by a person or orginization that is looking for stupid reasons for bashing alternitive energy "BIG OIL".

Wrong, the earth is the ultimate authority, we either live in balance of what the earth can provide, or it will exterminate us, like so many other species before us. Unless we kill each other off before that happens.

The article said we use about 25%, that means we don't use 75%. It didn't attempt to claim how much we should or should not use, only that we use 25%, and we are the bad guys because of it.

Anyone who thinks this is cause for alarm, should lead by example, the rest of us into a solution. Stop breathing air that an animal could use, stop eating food the animals could benifit from.
