As usual Victor Davis Hanson writes a good article. And as usual he concludes that the U.S. is now constrained to do nation-building, and to install democratically-premised governments worldwide. He's wrong. Check it out...

These people inter marry,often marrying a cousin.They are loyal to the Tribe and it will be a long time before they are concerned about democracy. H ow do you engage a society that kills a woman because she is dishonors her family by being raped.

How about tighter controls within our own borders on who comes in and what is their business? And then we can debate our levels of support for others. Instead, we make weak attemps at control of countries half a world away and let the friggin illegals run rampant here in the name of economic security.:confused:
