Well, I agree with the link Roy. We must crush the radical Muslims but we also must stop all aid to Isreal untill they treat the Palestineans justly and recognize their right to exist also. I don't see how this could be considered anti American but might be considered anti Isreal as far as their policy with the West Bank goes but to some it is one in the same and Isreal is the 51 st state and the most important one at that.

The U.S. should absolutely not have the right to defend who we choose. By choosing to side with Israel, the U.S. should be destroyed. Just who do we think we are that we have the right to choose who our allies should be. After all, look at how much Muslim nations have benefitted the U.S.

Just because we have some who turn away their eyes from such horrors, doesnt mean it doesnt exist. To claim acceptance of such inhumane treatment to even your enemy, makes you no better then them.

I have no doubt that these people have witnessed much wrong doing. To point out the wrong of one people does not make the wrong of another any better, it just proves we are all capable of doing wrong.

I'm sure that someone else can come up with as many experts who have been in the same positions that see the same things with different eyes and formulate different opinions of the situations.

Again; wrong is wrong, but to use one sided views of wrong to justify other wrongs is, well; wrong.

I am not claiming acceptance of anything. I am simply stating that we as Americans sometimes need to take sides and the sides we take are going to do wrong at times, just as we all do wrong at times.

This thread appears to be supporting the notion that the U.S. should not be supporting Israel because Israel has done wrong things. If that is the case, then we can support no one, not even ourselves.

It all boils down to whose wrongs are less offensive to our goals to achieve some sort of right. In the battle between Judaic/Christian leaning peoples and Islamic leaning peoples, I am going to cuddle up to the side that does not ultimately demand I assimilate or die.

In human terms, I don't believe the end is any where near. My rationalizing of this (or irrational if you prefer) is that we can invision a vast future for mankind. I just don't see God letting the human race off the hook any time soon.
