Problems are: Carrier 30gxr135 ver. 4
Unit trips on low suction saturation temp circuit A
circuit B looks good. 2 deg aproch and 7 deg delta T
Pretty sure its not low gas.
suction pressure hunts from 35-60 psig
discharge superheat goes from 1 deg to 35 deg and sat suct. temp also varies
Went through ext tests, all looks good
unloaders are not energized at this time. I know it sounds like they are.
I'm thinking float in the economizer sticking ??
Any good ideas.
Thanks Union boy

Sounds like the the eev does not know what to do. Had a similar problem on a Trane RTAC, it had too much oil, so the float sensor was not reading right, and thought there was no liquid, because of all the oil, and flooded the evap, and was getting liquid back to the screw. Not sure if Carrier uses the same concept.

That is a good point, i will remove some liquid from the bottom of the cooler.
and see what happens.
Thanks Gregg
