Never worked union before. Anything I should know about this particular group, or union work in general?

Its just like non union, if you don't cut it your gone. I think all of the locals have eliminated the seniority clauses so length of employment is a non issue when it comes to termination. Contrary to the tons of the union bashers in here the union shops don't harbor bums, they can't afford too. They need to turn a profit just like the non union shops. JMHO

Local #94,Canton Ohio....no seniority clause.

Hopefully they have changed, I checked into that same local about 10-12 years ago and was not impressed. Initially I was as excited as hell, after an interview that went well. But after several unreturned phone calls and unanswered questions, my excitement disappeared. hopefully it works better for you than it did for me. Good luck.
