Maybe true, regarding all the "old guys" leaving. When we do, all the parts changers will have the trade to themselves. :rolleyes:

Last I heard, Jadeco refrigeration in Tampa, FL is hiring right now. They do exclusively supermarket refrigeration. I think one of their accounts is the Kash n Karry/Sweetbay line.

Advanced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in Orlando, FL... another market contractor that's a little more involved in the construction side.

the money is in resi air conditioning

top techs make like 25hr.+, plus spiffs on parts they sell to unsuspecting customers

now take a top notch refer guy and he tops out around 24hr. at that in fla. and they make him go out at all hours and put in like 90 hrs. on call every third or forth week.... were would you rather be? doing tstat changes and selling a ulta violet light and install, making bunch of money or on a hot roof changing a 20 hp compressor for alot less, thats easy
