Hi,
I'm a semi-retired residential/lt. commercial (some industrial) installer with 28 yrs. experience thinking of doing some temporary contract install work in the midwest (I'm from Iowa), but google searches tend to give me all kinds of crap I can't use. Kids are grown, married and gone and thought this would be a good time in my life (age 54) to get out and see what's going on in other places, maybe pick up a few new tricks.
Anyone have any suggestions on finding companies that specialize in short to mid-term contract work, say 3-6 month projects? In the interim I'll keep looking, but thought someone here might have explored this avenue before and could offer a tip or two.
