You will not see this heart-stopping photo on the front page of the NY Times or on the lead story of the major news networks.

The protestors put up the Mexican flag over the American flag flying upside down at Montebello High School in California.

I predict this stunt will be the nail in the coffin of any guest-worker/amnesty plan on the table in Washington. The image of the American flag subsumed to another and turned upside down on American soil is already spreading on In ternet forums and via e-mail.

Pass this along to every American citizen in your address books and to every representative in the state and federal government. If you choose to remain uninvolved, do not be amazed when you no longer have a nation to call your own nor anything you have worked for left since it will be "redistributed" to the activists while you are so peacefully staying out of the "fray". Check history, it is full of nations/empires that disappeared when its citizens no longer held their core beliefs and values. One person CAN make a difference. One plus one plus one plus one plus one plus one........

The battle for our secure borders and immigration laws that actually mean something, however, hasn't even begun.

Isn't Mexico in North America?

Yes it is. However, it is not in the United States of America. It's sovereign country separate from the USA. Try calling a Canadian an American since, it too, is in North America. Those boys drink beer as well and would kick your sally a$$.

So, Technically they are "Americans"....

So, technically you are an idiot...

Take a class in colloquialism.

Better yet, take a class in "How to Return to the Old Country" and apply what you learn. That way you won't have to pull out the F&W to look up "colloquialism".

But since only citizens of the United States are referred to as Americans by everyone in the world, that would technically make you an idiot.

maybe your not an American either, you just run your mouth to get attention and don't have a clue what is happening so close to where you live.

As far as a Canadian they are welcome here as long as they have a VISA as are the Mexicans. I just don't agree with the fact that a public high school that our tax dollars pay for is aloud to run the American flag unside down which means surrender or captured.

maybe your not an American either,

As of June 1994, I am.

you just run your mouth to get attention and don't have a clue what is happening so close to where you live.

I am fully aware of what is happening in this country. It's been happening for over 20 years now, and you have allowed it until now.

Yep, thats called "legal" immigration. If you are against immigration, you need to move to another country, since this is a nation built of immigrants.

You're right about one thing here, and this is letting these people defame our country's flag. This type of stuff is typical of Hispanic action groups who's agenda revolves around recapturing former Mexican territrory within the US. According to them Califonia, Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, and parts of Nevada belong to Mexico.

And speaking of tax dollars, where in your original post does it say that this was a school sponsored event? If it was, then the Administration of that school needs a little schooling in civic. And I am not talking about Mexican Civics. As far ras I can tell it looks like a student led rebellion.
